At Balcones Springs, it's simply impossible to be bored. Enjoy hiking, kayaking, paddle boating or fishing. Compete in a bride's family versus groom's game of sand volleyball, football or softball. Relax on a float. Spend the afternoon visiting a local golf course or winery. There's something for everyone.

The following activities* can enhance your stay at Balcones Springs at an additional charge.
Swimming
Enjoy the abundant activities Lake Ted has to offer including swimming, our Wedginator water slide, rope swinging off the hill, taking the trolley into the water, blobbing and wrestling on the Saturn located in the middle of the lake. Water recreation in Lake Ted requires a minimum of three lifeguards. More may be required for larger groups. $25 per lifeguard per hour.
Horseback
Take a relaxing ride along the north shore of Lake Travis with your friends and family. $40 per person per hour (up to 8 guests per hour)
Ted's Dread and the Power Pole
Take a ride down Ted's Dread, our 903 foot zip line, the longest over a body of water in Texas. $150 per hour (approximately 15 people per hour) Or take a thrilling jump off our Power Pole, which looks over into the ravine.
Climbing Tower and Screamer
Rock climb up our two courses and try repelling down. This allows one climber at a time. Additional cost for more facilitators. $150 per hour (up to 10 people per hour)
Ropes Course Challenges
Guests can choose from our high or low elements courses. $20 per person per hour (up to 10 people per hour)
Charlotte's Web
Try bungee jumping with three other friends on our quad bungee trampoline. $150 per hour (approximately 15 people per hour)
Guided Hike
Guests learn about the flora, fauna and history of the area. $75 for a one-hour hike.
Golf
Arrangements can be made to at one of many courses nearby.
Skeet Shooting
Let our staff conduct a skeet shooting competition for up to 10 people. $150 per hour (includes staff, clay pigeons, shotguns and ammunition).
